A unique duo

This summer, a unique duo team up to paddle the 648km Noatak River. Beginning in Bettles, Alaska and the Gates of the Arctic National Park. Paddling the winding river down through the Brooks range into the Grand Canyon of the Noatak. Through, what was, the Noatak National Preserve, to its outflow in the Chukchi Sea. Where they will  endure a roughly 20km open water crossing in a stretch known for its sudden weather changes and strong winds to the town of Kotzebue.
One a french men, professional Miner (retired as of this spring) solo Mountaineer expert, and adventurer.
The other a prairie girl, professional photographer, motivator, kayaker, and explorer.
Teaming up to experience the largest undisturbed watershed in North America. Documenting the unique views of two very different individuals. With one common goal, to bring awareness of the beauty of a world that may soon be paved over.
A world few have heard of, less have explored, and barely any are aware needs protecting.
We invite you to follow along on our journey. A journey of reconnecting two individuals, the land, the water, and the wilderness, to a world who is unaware of this northern perfection.
